Taming the ice-hurling dragon

Did I mention that it's cold over here? Even the dragons on the Alfred Escher* fountain in front of the Zürich Hauptbahnhof were breathing ice instead of fire.

*Escher, Alfred. 1819 to 1882. Founder of the Swiss railway system and key player in institutions such as the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich (ETHZ) and what is now Credit Suisse. Short Wiki bio at this link.

I was lucky enough to make two trips to your beautiful country.

It's hot here - summer in Australia!

I am glad the dragon was breathing at least something: I could not breathe a thing until I got through your little aside!

Wonderful catch! I think the ice is more impressive than the water anyway.

David: Welcome to Villigen! Thank you for taking the time to write.

Julie: You're so right! I heeded your comment and rewrote the text to make it easier to parse.

Halcyon: It made me wonder why some fountains are shut off and drained while others aren't...

JM and Baron: Thanks!

Impressive -- though it looks a little uncomfortable for the dragon.
