An exuberance of flowers
Lovingly tended by a resident on Hauptstrasse, this predominantly rose garden is visible from our kitchen window. I didn't mention it yesterday, but yesterday's photo was taken from our guestroom, which also serves as my work room. I've posted many photos that were taken from that window.

Those are some pretty flowers. I like roses but only have one. An old-fashioned single rose that never gets aphids or any diseases. All the rest cost money to keep sickly. So I gave up on them.

Thank you so much for your comments on my blog. I did look at the chrome toasters at the site you linked me to - they are really nicer than the old ones I have here. Why am I keeping them, you ask. Actually it is my husband who is keeping them because they belonged to his grandparents and he remembers, with happiness, his grandfather burning the toast and saying "Aye, yi, yi".
Yes, that's the man I married - and now I am really living happily ever after. Wasn't I the smart one to propose?
Hey, that's really clever - having a vicarous garden ;-) No muss, no fuss, no watering...
(I would approach the neighbor with a can of paint and offer to paint the utility box for him!)
