Daily Photo theme day: Men at work
Once a month (usually the first of the month), members of the daily city photo blog community participate in a theme day. Today's topic is "men at work" and while I had ideas of interesting interpretations of the theme, I wasn't able to capture any of them on CCD. So, here's a rather boring shot of construction work going on opposite our post office (note the marker with the name and the postcode on the right hand side of the photo). I don't know what it is that they're working on, so I can't tell you.

In the end at least 80 sites are following the theme this month!

Acid blue crane!! That is a really odd color.
The weather looks semi-warm (no snow on the ground in this photo) for this time of the year. Are you having a warmer winter? Good shot!
I thought the right hand side is someting you added by image editor for signature. Well, I must be wrong.

Olivier: Glad you liked it. But, do you mean the view in this photo? Maybe I've become too used to the local landscape?!

Ming: Again, somehow, it didn't strike me that the crane is this unusual color.
Kuanyin: We have had a very mild winter this year. Not enough snow for the ski resorts and that sort of thing.
Ben: I'll have to publish another photo with the post in it so you can see. I had to rotate this photo to get the post vertical, you might see that made the trailer and the house in the back tilt off from horizontal. Maybe it's not so easy to see... I'll just have to get another photo. While I have, on the rare occasion, removed things like branches, I doubt I'll ever add anything. :-)
