Pharmacy Shield of the blacksmith guild

Update: As a reader pointed out, the hammer and the pliers probably don't belong in a pharmacy sign (though we all know about the very early days of medicine... yikes!) So, what can this be?
Update II: The area of Zürich where I took this series of photos is home to the trade guilds of Zürich. A little about them here (Wiki). This coat of arms is that of the blacksmith guild.

Sicher? Die Schlange könnte darauf hindeuten, aber Hammer und Zange? Solche Hardware gehören zu einer Apotheke? Wie auch immer - interessantes Wappen. Da ich mich in wenig mit der Heraldik beschäftige (wegen der Ahnenforschung) finde ich das Wappen höchst sehenswert.
Lewi: Du hast recht. Was kann es sein? I muss ein bisschen "forschen".
