As for year of original construction, more like the 1500s or 1600s. Some are older. I can believe that many of the parts of the buildings, not all, are original.
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. Storage of hay, etc, do you mean? How old do you reckon these buildings are: 20th century sometime?
I think for hay and so on. But, I'm not sure.

They are well preserved. I guess spending half the year buried beneath snow can have that result.
