Vogelsang as seen from Bruggerberg

This is the region of Vogelsang bei Turgi and we see the Limmat river downstream of Zürich and Baden, and just before it merges into the Aare. In the back is the Austrasse bridge. The building with orange awnings on the right side of the photo is/was a restaurant with a nice view, but it seems to have gone out of business.

The Limmat delivers about 100 m³/s of water to the confluence of the rivers I mentioned in yesterday's post. The start of a sort of diversion to harness some of the energy carried by the flowing water is visible on the left in this photo.

Lots of detail in this photo when enlarged. Whatever the scale, water power is great.
