I like this rear view. Perhaps it is the red or the fact that it appears to be heading off into the wilderness. Whatever the reason it is a very pleasing and interesting shot.
I very much like this photo. It reminds me of Thomas the Tank children's stories. The conductor seems to be holding on for dear life as the rickety red engine slowly but bumpily makes its way up the hill.
These two posts go right to my heart. I am an active member of the "Musée - Chemin de Fer Blonay - Chamby". And you have given me the idea to post about it.
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322

I love the conductor at the back, slouched... it almost looks like he has carried the people up and down the hill... nice picture.
Gruzi wohl! Love this little train picture! Reminds me of the ride up the Zugerberg when I taught in Zug back in 1989. Ausgezeichnet! Vielen Dank!
