I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322

Wonderful view! I believe all of Switzerland must be picturesque.
Almost all. ;-)
About irigation, Yes we have the same system in France but I did never see any rounds in the french fields !
That just screams "Postcard!"
Gorgeous.
so picturesque
Looks like the countryside is waking up from a long slumber. Everything is so neat and precise - glad that it's as I remember it.
Claude: This link here has some pictures from center pivot irrigation systems. By design they create round areas.
Jacob: Hm, that's a thought. I haven't seen these sorts of scenes portrayed on postcards.
Julie: Thanks!
Tash: How long ago were you here last?
I had to tell you...I love this one...So very Swiss...isn't it?
