I wonder if from airplane this fileds would be round. When we look at the ground from airplane we see everywhere in the american countryside a lot of rounds. My Chéri asked our american friend for knowing why. Watering installations are the explanation.
Claude: I haven't seen any round fields here. The center-pivot irrigation you speak of is popular only in a handful of countries. You don't have them in France, do you?
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322

oh,so beautiful.
Beautiful mix of scenery. Great composition
Such neat fields and farms! Amazing. Our farms look nowhere as organized.
Very interesting shot! I like your perspective! These fields look like fields on the chessboard:)

You framed that so well & the different "texture" of the fields makes it so interesting - I spotted it the other day & wanted to stop by.
