The Fasnachtsumzug
Fasnachtsumzug = Fasnacht parade. A photo from the small-scale parade that took place in Villigen this afternoon. This is our very own Guggenmusik (aka Guggemusig or Guggemusik -- it's difficult to keep track of dialect words) band. A description of this type of music can be found at this Wikipedia page if you understand German. This is an excellent photo; colorful and well-composed. But it's the angle of shooting that makes it!
I'm just going to have to translate that page. Wonderful atmosphere you've captured.
