Who and why
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. Camera information
My current camera is an Olympus OM-D E-M10 (2014). Main lens: Panasonic 20mm f/1.7. Zoom/macro: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8. Until mid-2014 I had an Olympus PEN-EP2 (2010). Up until June 2010 I used a Panasonic Lumix FZ7 (2006). Occasionally there may appear photos taken with either a Nikon Coolpix 950 that I've had since 2000 or a used Nikon Coolpix 990 I acquired in 2009.

It's beautiful, but I'm curious as to the "2" around the camel's neck
Tanya: Yes, it is. They do put a lot of effort into their displays.
LavenderLady: It's part of an Advent calendar of sorts, and this display was 'opened' on the 2nd of December. More details in my December 27th post, to be published in a few hours.
Very beautiful camel ! I know a funny story about a dromedary whi met a camel in the desert mais in english is impossible. I try.
The dromedray says to the camel :"Hello ! You bone up ?" and the camel answers : "Yes ! I bone up, I bone up !"
Wow, that's really interesting that they have a sort of Advent calendar for their decorations. Next Christmas you should do a whole series! Unless it's way out of the way for you :)
I have a soft spot for camel decorations -- this one is impressive. It is nice to have such obliging neighbors.
