I hope you don't mind me taking the easy route by copying and pasting this comment, it is by far the easiest method of getting my message to so many CDP photobloggers. I am not sure that I can sustain South Shields Daily Photo much longer, it is so difficult to keep finding new material on a daily basis, and after more than two years inspiration and motivation are becoming harder to find, so I may become less daily from time to time. I hope you can find new hope and inspiration, and that a new start in 2009 brings everything that you desire. The CDP photoblogging community has grown massively over the past year and I'd like to thank those who have visited South Shields Daily Photo, especially those who have been kind enough to leave a comment or two. Best wishes for 2008
Another a nice picture. Yes Z I have seen this film because I have seen before an old film about Henri Dunant and why he founded the red cross. I just look for how to get a copy. Can not you download it on internet ?
Achingly beautiful, Z. I am not sure that individuals can change anything in the wider world right now. There are far too many agendas running. I hope to act just in my own world and hope that radiates - all I can do really. A Francisan prayer writ small.
Portland Oregon Daily Photo sends you heartfelt wishes for the new year. May your 2009 be filled with good health, riches of the mind and heart, loved ones returning home, an increased respect for our fragile planet, and the cessation of wars across the Earth.
Wellingtonia: Thank you, and I hope to 'see' more of you in 2009.
Curly: I totally understand. I try to keep in mind that for most of my readers everything about Villigen and the surroundings is unknown and I go from there.
Tanya: Thanks!
Scott: I really appreciate the note! Best to you and yours!
Claude: I'm probably going to order it through my public library.
N.P.: I think this is your first comment here. Welcome, and thank your for your kind words!
Julie: Methinks agendas have always gotten in the way, for as long as human beings have lived in groups. Like you, I try to 'act locally' as part of the trite saying goes.
It's interesting that the feeling of this one is so different from yesterday's, at least for me. Light is so expressive (to be anthropomorphic about it), I can never get tired of noticing.
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322

Absolutely beautiful, Z. I hope, somehow, that 2009 will magnify all of our small, best efforts. As you say, real justice is the key to peace.
