Rotes Haus
The Rotes Haus (red house) in Brugg is a hotel and restaurant. Apparently the building was already used in the hospitality service in 1448. Other than this factoid, I haven't found out much more about the history.

I love the way restaurants and hotels have such nice signs over there. Much more quaint and attractive than the usual neon in the US.
These hanging signs are like jewelry for the buildings. Decorative and beautiful.

Really lovely as JM said for both photos. I looked at Rotes Haus' web-page. It reminds me of a place in Luzern (need to look it up - hope it's still there). Rotes Haus has a very nice meeting room too.
