Anon: Thank you for leaving a comment! I'm glad you like the photos. I don't know the garden you mean, so it could have been there. Is it right next to the street? I was mostly on the street, just next to the llama fence when I took this photo... Hey, maybe we can have a cup of tea when you visit next time.
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322

Llamas in Switzerland? The photo certainly caught my eye on the City DP portal !!!
I shouldn't be so surprised, though.I've seen some in the french Alps, now that you mention it...
Amazing pictures! You make me want to move there!
When I see some llamas, I always think about the comic strip "Tintin in Peru". That is when I read this book i knew llamas
can spit.
Nathalie: Llamas have been exported to all over the place. Big farms in Australia too, aren't there?
Peter: Welcome! And thank you for the lovely compliment!
Claude: I've heard about the spitting too, but I have to say, these ones are such calm creatures. They just come up and stare.
seem to recognise the llamas. was the picture taken from Katrina's garden.
We have visited her many times from Wales UK.
Great pictures of Villigen - we love it there.
