Waiting in the wings
The Amilcar last seen here in July. I went over to chat with the owner today and he confirmed the make. This one was built in 1928 and has been restored almost completely.

Another classic car waiting for a drive out. well spotted.
I like well to get answer to a question, even 6 months after.
Nice. I like classic cars. The owner is so lucky.

Fine treatment, in synch with the story.....a glimpse of what is about to emerge.
Happy New Year Z. How's your microclimate balcony down there?
Any chance of an emerging wheat grass shot?
Hello all, and thank you for writing!
Chuck: The balcony plants, or some of them such as the hosta and fern, are dormant now. I wasn't able to wrap up their pots, so I don't know if they'll be alright. I'll find out in the spring! The geraniums would have survived if I had brought them inside somewhere, but I got caught up with some more important things and they withered away. A shame, but I just haven't been able to spend any time on the plant maintenance. Or much on blogging other than the bare minimum. Maybe in February...
As for the wheat, there're actually several plants that are still growing in the fields out here and I would have to take a bunch of photos and have the lot of you identify them.
