Our balcony seems to have a microclimate and most of the plants on it are flourishing while the neighbors' are waning in the cold-warm cycles we've been having.
Now I'm interested. Pse advise orientation of your balony, shelteredness, etc, and any relevant points....even a photo will help. My daughte ris starting her balcony garden in the new flat....so your input is eagerly sought after.
I'm the gardener in the house, and I'll gladly take credit for these beauties even though I know better (they got somewhat neglected this year because of other demands on my time). I hope to put together an overflow post about the balcony garden, but it might be winter before I have to time to do that.
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322

Do you talk to your plants? Perhaps they just feel loved?!
You're lucky. That's a lovely deep colour.
Beautiful!
