Photos from Villigen, Switzerland and surroundings
I must photograph this house when the sun is shining on this side of it, but for now, I want to maintain continuity with yesterday's photo which showed the house as seen from the top of Besserstein.

I love all these window boxes!
You're right, that's a stately house. I look forward to your next photo of it.
Although not all Swiss houses look like ski chalets, there is something to my eye that is non-swiss about this one. The low pitched roof has a more mediterranean feel. Although the green shutters are de-rigeur. Whoever makes the paint for Swiss shutters must be minted.
Richard has been looking closely. He's right.
Jewelers....Madame, one couldn't possibly comment ;-)
Bolly-Hollywood....you would not say that if you could read the sub title (Rumsfeldt would go frantic)
Glad I've raised your bio-fuels crop awareness. Something's out of balance. Clearer thinking is needed.
Really a nice-looking home. Well kept and photographs very nice. It might be best in the shade though.
Z, you're right! I read about Fup, the store cat, on the Powell's e-mail newsletter. I'll have to check out abebooks--that's new to me. Well, I'll have to just look since I don't have any space right now, doggone it. I've been frequenting the library instead which works wonderfully.
I can see the windows are flowered ! Very beautiful house !
i was gonna ask you about showcasing the yellow house and next thing i know is u have it here up already......it's a great looking house...and u sound like such a methodical person, Z :)
Thanks to all of you for coming by and taking the time to write!
Richard: I agree, it looks like what I think of as a villa, with Italian roots. And just for the record, our building has brown shutters.
Moi: Urm, the last bit doesn't sound like a compliment... :-)
z - are you sure that's not undercoat?
heck no, i did mean it as a compliment!!!! :)
