Window shopping in Zürich

Yesterday's discussion reminded me of a set of photos I took of a jeweler's display window on Zürich's Bahnhofstrasse (official website for Bahnhofstrasse). Last January the design theme was antique coffeemakers. It would seem they arranged the bijoux by the value of the machines -- these were some of the least expensive pieces and they were shown with the simplest espresso maker.

Nice window display you photographed. I have also seen jewelry and chamber pots on display before.

I see no price tag. (Nice try. Window shots are tricky unless you have Richard's skills).

Amazed to see the Nesspresso Recycler...but then Nestle is Swiss, and the Swiss have a godd reputation for the recycling. I doubt we will ever catch up.

How's the wheat planting going along? Good conditions, so should be well ahead. Barley's also going in.

Moi: Think Breakfast at Tiffany's. :-)

OML: And I've seen toilets used in a Zürich optical shop. I even have a (bad quality) photo or two.

Claude: That must be one of the very early stovetop models and their descendents are still around today. Mine is based on the same principle.

Chucker: Are you sitting down? The numbers you see, the 4-digit beasts? Prices. And these were on the low end...

Recycling: Nestlé had to be forced to implement the recycling program, and so far, it is only in CH that such a program exists.
