Who and why
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera information
My current camera is an Olympus OM-D E-M10 (2014). Main lens: Panasonic 20mm f/1.7. Zoom/macro: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8. Until mid-2014 I had an Olympus PEN-EP2 (2010). Up until June 2010 I used a Panasonic Lumix FZ7 (2006). Occasionally there may appear photos taken with either a Nikon Coolpix 950 that I've had since 2000 or a used Nikon Coolpix 990 I acquired in 2009.

oh but i like this one very well--it's very much in keeping with the coming fall...
i love the colors on your blog form the pastels of wildflowers to beautiful cars and now the lovely greys of these logs ....one day, some day if you ever decide to make a collage of your fav. pics don't forget to show the collage to me :)
this is a very beautiful capture. I would love to blow this up as but as it can be and print it out and put it up in my apartment. Fantastic.
Sadly, with the smog problems in Parker, you are no longer allowed to build a new house with a wood burning fireplace.
A real fireplace is a very fond memory I have from when I was growing up
I have the same logs (perhaps smaller) in the wood place under my fireplace hearth. Nice photo with Fall colours !
