Theme day: Views from my room
It's theme day, and the theme for June is "the view from my room". Instead of just one view, I wanted to give you an idea of what you would see if you were to stand at the window and spend some time looking around. Clicking on the image will bring up a 1500 pixel x 1125 pixel version. You will see the garden with water features that the downstairs neighbors set up, a cat ladder (neighbors'), two cats (ours), the balcony and window belonging to another neighbor and herb plants on our balcony. There are also a couple of shots of the window from the bed. All photos were taken over the past two days.
Addendum: I changed the layout of the collage just a tiny bit as there was something that was bothering me. Also, for those of you who were interested in the post from yesterday: all the individuals who were up for approval for citizenship were accepted.
Surely, you want to take a look at the view from the rooms of the DPers all over the world:

cool collage!
I couldn't decide about one photo so i've posted 4.. maybe it would be a good idea to make something like you did.. but well, next time!
It seems that you live in a beautiful and quite place! Nice cats!
Great treatment - very original!
Love all your views, especially the reflection in the glass!
That's a delightful montage. I like your labels for your post too!
What a creative presentation! It's lovely outside your window!
What a neat idea! I like your views.
Thank you, z, I spent a nice moment to enlarge your collage! Have a nice day!
I like the picture of this post and I see you have some nice views around you. Here downstairs I can only watch my garden and from upstairs a cornfield and a property very bad cleaned. really nothing to be choot. That is the reason why I watch photos from others bloggers.
Typical swiss restful views. Ironic but not sarcastic. Smart collage.
Happy DP Theme !
superbe idee, et le montage est genial. bravo
superb idea, and the assembly is brilliant. cheer
You have many things to see.
I am happy the group was accepted.
Wouldn't it be different if you woke up in my house and looked out the bedroom window? My site shows what you would see.

I am sure you wake up nice and happy every day with so many views.
Happy Theme Day!
What a great idea of collage! And I like its components as well :)
Thanks for visiting my blog. The wires between the building are local network and cabel TV, as far as I understand. You see, those houses were not designed for any additional communications.
So many wonderful things to look at every day. Thanks for this interesting collage today.
I clicked to enlarge and had a look at every detail, it's wonderful!
You are so creative. I love all the photos.
I love your collage. You have a gorgeous view outside your bedroom.
Glad to see you are composting.
Really nice views. Like your collage. It brings out the best view outside your room. I like the cat, the house in the trees and the flowers too.
Bravo. Your collage is outstanding. I especially like the compost bucket.
Wow, what an amazing collage of super photographs. Great views, lovely cats.
Yes, z, it is a clematis. And like you, white ones are my favourites. I like very much white flowers in my garden, and don't want anything red or orange or purple! These colors are too strong for a little yard, in my opinion...How are your strawberries getting on?
lush surroundings z, and nice collage. Em, isn't that compost bucket not supposed to be under your sink? ;)
I agree with other`s opinions, btu I am curious, how did you make this collage? Some software ??
And you asked long time ago about this Veronica. The answer is no, we have not it here. But we have some other Veronicas here. they will be blooming after few weeks.
Have a nice weekend!
loved the one with the football in it a lot!!!
Very good idea. Thank you for showing those at glance. It's nice to spend time in here.
Not only you have a nice you but you did great work on this wonderful collage !
Yes, you were in right. I published my bed room view -in original- on 16th April.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by and left comments. Every single comment gives me a thrill.
Like Isabella, I think the photo of the window reflecting the hills and sky is the one I like best, at least, in theory if not in execution.
And Keropok Man is quite right, having all this to look at when I wake up is a treat for me.
Ming and Denton: composting is "required" in our area (not true in all of CH). We pay for our trash collection per bag, so it behooves us to reduce the amount we put into the regular garbage.
Moi: the "picnic", as I call that shot, is one I like quite a lot :-)
Leena asked about the way I put the collage together. I used Photoshop, cropped the individual photos to the size I wanted (400 x 400), added a white border to each and then placed them into separate layers where I could manipulate them, such as move them around and rotate them individually. It was time consuming, but I didn't have any other way to do this with my Mac. I understand PC users have options with freeware tools available in Picasa and Flickr, for instance.
I give you the 'most creative' award for this theme! what a great idea.....your views are quite nice, and obviously the cats enjoy them too!
