More tree gnomes

These gnomes hang out with the other two that you saw before (you can see the yellow pants of one of them at the right edge of the photo). To see the tree in which they live, visit my overflow site.

Claude: I don't know! And no, they're not mine, I don't have any gnomes or other garden ornaments.

Moi: In the winter, when there are no leaves on the tree, they're pretty visible. That's how I even knew they were there -- now I wouldn't know at all.

In france some people spend the time to defend the garden gnomes because they are sompe crazy people who do not like them and kidnap them. A couple of yaer one hundred of them have been finden in a old house by the police.

Very whimsy indeed.

Tks for dropping in. Yep "white sky"...here it's drowning dreadful tropical downpour and terrifying grey cloud.

FYI....English "homely" = American "homey" (I seem to remember). Stairwells??? How dare you, Madame. No Duchess could sweep down a stairWAY build in a window box!!! No, they are rooms. The stairway flows off from the main hall.

Cherry Garden...very wierd....actually there is not a single cherry tree around. I must ask the curators why it's called that (as you may know, I work as a volunteer handy man in the property repairing the unrepairable).
