Sheep
Well, we've had a nice little jaunt around Switzerland the last few days and now it's back home to Villigen. It seems that every little piece of land is utilized for something, even if it's just something such as growing grass to make hay. There's an area between the houses with the bear mailbox and the phone booth set back from Hauptstrasse where these sheep were parked last week.

How did you make this atmosphere to this extraordinary photo. I could do from it a copy to my wall.
Beautiful!
I really love the mood of this shot!
That's a nice shot with the light just hitting in the right spot.
This is a very nice photograph. The contrasts in colors on the sheep and in the grass is marvelous. We have 8.3 degrees C this morning where I live. It feels cold.
I am anxious for you to see the Rose-Breasted Grosbeak that came to Brookville, Ohio yesterday. It is the first one I have seen since we moved here 44 years ago.
Leena: I left an answer on your blog. I'll repeat it here. Very simply: I was just in the right place at the right time. I had planned part of it, to go out early in the morning b/c I knew what position the sun would be in at that time, and what sort of shadows it would cast. Plus having the "golden light" or whatever that's called. What I couldn't control, of course, is the way the sheep would assemble. Part patience and part luck there. Oh, and I underexpose nearly all my shots. Hope this helps.
Kris, lv2, Abraham: thank you for taking the time to write!
Rip rip chew, as you said earlier! It's a good photo.
Great shot Z! You post about sheep and I post horse today :)
