First yield of the year
I bought a strawberry plant at Ikea several weeks ago and it has been very happy on our balcony so far. Here is one of the two berries that were ready yesterday. A photo of an unripe one can be seen here: Balcony strawberry, unripe. I also noticed that one of our tomato plants is flowering! Seems quite early to me, though it has been warm enough.

The third Ikea is completing in finland, not here In an area of Joensuu - yet :)

I just discovered a earlier that two baby robins have left the nest. Or one is still there. I have photographed those and will show them on Monday.

Thank you for the comments, everyone. Our local strawberry grower just put up a roadside stall across from our apartment yesterday and I'm looking forward to checking out their offerings.
