Cat and cat ladder, with lavender

This house is next to the llama farm I wrote about in January. The residents have cats as well and they've provided ladders for their ease of movement in and out of the house. I've seen a lot of ladders of this type around here, usually at windows in apartments that are at least one storey from the ground. This one is a little unusual in that the window is close enough to the ground that a cat should be able to jump up, but perhaps they have elderly cats ...

Dieses Haus ist neben der Llamafarm, die ich im Januar beschrieben habe. Die Einwohner haben auch Katzen und haben für sie eine Leiter gemacht. Ich sehe viele solche Leitern überall.

It's the first time I see cat ladder! It's very surprising.

This is a fun post! They have been really thoughtful people there.

( Still about this baby matter - we have been living in so safe here, that we probably are too trusting in "big world", it simply does not cross our minds, that somebody could heart babies! Thank you for your comments on my site )

And when (if?) it snows??

One of the cutest pics I've seen in a while! Great job.

The kitty looked like a doll to me at first, probably because s/he was posing so nicely. But then I figured that should be a real cat.

Anyway, I agree this is a very cute picture!

Hello all, and thank you for your comments. I wonder where else they have these cat ladders, surely not just in CH. Oh and Fay: I took many shots because the cat was moving around. This photo turned out best. The first time I walked by the house, it wasn't there and I took photos of just the ladder. When I was returning home, it showed up and I was thrilled!

Lucky cat!! Someone must love him/her a lot.

Die Katzen ist sehr lucky. :-)

Ich bin Auslander und sprechen nicht gut Deustch.

Anon: Some cats like to go out in the snow, I don't know about this guy pictured here.

Ming: Hey lookie, I think I can actually correct your mistakes! Die Katze ist sehr glücklich. Actually, you could be Swiss and still speak poor German if you came from the non-German areas. Or, you could be Austrian and be an Ausländer, but speak Deutsch just fine. Okay, enough nit-picking for a Sunday morning -- I don't want to discourage people from commenting!!!

Such a cute photo, and what a great idea. (My husband built a cat-step under our kitchen window for our moggie, but he has never used it...)
