Who and why

I had started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. As of Dec 2009, I've changed course a little bit though I still intend to post a photo a day once I get fully restarted. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. Comments and corrections are always welcome. I will try my best to respond to all feedback. Advertisements will be deleted.

Around the world with city blogs past and present

My main camera is an Olympus PEN-EP2. Up until June 2010 I used a Panasonic Lumix FZ7 (2006). Occasionally there may appear photos taken with either a Nikon Coolpix 950 that I've had since 2000 or a used Nikon Coolpix 990 I acquired in 2009. I write the taken-on date in small font at the bottom of each post. I manage my photos with iPhoto, do the framing with Picnik and sometimes use GIMP or Photoshop to try to correct optical distortions. 20100704.
