Brugg-Windisch dig find

Here's something different. I've mentioned the Roman ruins in these parts, e. g. the amphitheater in Windisch (town next to Brugg). Over the past couple of years there has been a big construction project in Windisch and this is a view of part of it from a year ago. Whenever they dig around here, there's the chance that they'll find something of archeological interest. The site seen here has just recently yielded a relief in stone of an almost life-size female head. A photo of this can be seen at the following site (text only in German):

Windisch: Porträt eine römischen Göttin entdeckt.

That is an unusual face. Great find!
Do they take volunteers at the Swiss digs?
I spent October digging in Roman Tiberias, by the Sea of Galilee.

Love your pictures of dear Switzerland.
