Who and why
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera information
My current camera is an Olympus OM-D E-M10 (2014). Main lens: Panasonic 20mm f/1.7. Zoom/macro: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8. Until mid-2014 I had an Olympus PEN-EP2 (2010). Up until June 2010 I used a Panasonic Lumix FZ7 (2006). Occasionally there may appear photos taken with either a Nikon Coolpix 950 that I've had since 2000 or a used Nikon Coolpix 990 I acquired in 2009.

Hallo Z wollte nur mal wieder sagen suuuper fotos wie immer war grad in den Ferien in Italien aber heute wieder Fotos angschaut.
Super wie immer danke für die schönen Bilder mach bitte weiter so.
mmm ... they tend to discourage feeding bread to animals over here ... makes them dependent upon humans for food that does not meet their nutritional needs.

Julie: These are meant for the farm animals. Maybe for the goats I showed some days ago. People would leave their stale bread in the box and the farmer would use them as appropriate. Here, too, feeding wild animals is not encouraged, though maybe bird feeders are considered alright.
