There's a field of sunflowers just in front of the village. A big attraction for bees, butterflies and other critters I couldn't identify. In the back you can see the rolling hills.
Dude- you used an Americanism. I heard it. Some critter stole a few Swiss francs from a hotel room in Key West this week. The officer doing the report had to come by to ask me how much they were worth and how to spell "franc" ( I was tempted to say Frank). We speculated endlessly as to what a thief would do in Key West with such exotica. He was probably stoned and thought the nightstand greenbacks just looked a little odd.
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322

Sunflower fields are so cheerful. There were vast fields of them where I used to live but I don't remember seeing any where I live now.
Nice - there seems to be an endless field of these sunny faces.
