Photos from Villigen, Switzerland and surroundings
These might be Rosa rugosa. Whatever they are, they're very popular with the bees and other insects. There's a small row of them near the Raiffeisen bank on Hauptstrasse and it's always buzzing with activity.

Conch: Doubtful, but never say never.
Rambling: It's a little difficult to see the ladybird, isn't it? I didn't see it until I uploaded the photo to my computer. Otherwise I would have tried a close-up of it.
Baron: The leaves of this plant are at least three different distinct shades of green. They would make a great B+W image, I think. I'm working on it.
