Hello everyone! Thank you so much for the encouraging feedback. Sunlit wood has become quite a fascination for me and I have to hold myself back so I don't overdo it.
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322

Great pic Z.
I really like this. So effective just allowing the shadows and light to fall onto those textures.
Lovely lines.
A really interesting study of line.
Love the lighting on this. Beautifully rustic.
I like the faded tones. It makes it look like these items have been here for eternity.
Fantastic pictures...Unseen Rajasthan
Love all this old wood. So many different shades of brown. Very nice!

Don't hold yourself back: this is glorious stuff.
That pile of rusty metal: in Australia it would be old rabbit traps; in Switzerland maybe snow chains.
Nice feel to this one ...
