A little play on words today. The grapevines around the area have been trimmed in the last few days and I found this stack of logs, if that's what they can be called.
God I'm slow: which play on which words? As far as use goes (aside from firewood)I guess they've done that in an existential way, by being photographed and becoming the object of an impenetrable riddle...
What a glorious image. From the portal I thought I could be looking at midgies coming through the sand. In Switzerland, I said to myself. Nah! What is Z up to now?
More comments than I hoped for, which is always terrific. Thanks!
B Squared: Haven't a clue.
Conch: I envisioned things like grapes with elephant-like proboscises, or purple-colored swimming pants. It's not you, it's me.
Julie: Oh my goodness, that's a completely unexpected take on the image, IMO. I like it!
White Oleander: You're so right. I've been looking at used gear as well. If you feel comfortable enough with the seller, you might consider that option.
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322

N INTERESTING PICTURE.
Do they have any use?
Fascinating - a cord of vine-wood.
Excellent point of view.

I love the geometry of the world.
Hi, I've been looking for some camera but they're all very expensive. I'll just save up and buy a dream camera:)
How a stack of vine-wood can do a nice picture. I love very much !
