Oh Z...I din't mean the coment to turn out so negative...sorry...I was just expecting to see 2 larger swans..but instead, in my eyes, the large body of water takes over, making the Swans or their presence not so relevant.. but then again I'm not an expert on the subject...it's just my opinion an I certainly apologize for the negative way it came out. Wasn't meant to be that way. Cheers
i have always seen swans in pairs....so i assume they mate for a lifetime........even if they don't, on a valentine's weekend, I'd like to believe they do ;DDD
Baron: Actually, I didn't take it negatively so don't worry! I see your point and my typical inclination is ususally to zoom into things. For this one though, I wanted to show the sandy 'beach' on one edge and the mossy rocks on the other.
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Beautiful. I like swans. I think they are mates that stay together for a lifetime, aren't they? Nice color in the photo too.
Nice of you not to forget these beautiful swans :-)
Hi Z! The blues in your last pictures are awesome! And the swans looked great here!
Interested in Rajasthan? Blogtrotter has it! ;) Enjoy, comment and have a great weekend!
That is such a peaceful, relaxing photo. For some reason, swans always looks so graceful.
Abe: I've heard that about swan pairs. An interesting thing.
Marc: And nice of them to present such photo-ops. :-)
Halcyon and Ming: There is something about swans...
GMG: I'll be by soon!
Well actually you missed the shot.
There is no depth in it
Get with it
Althought this is a good shot...you my friend , can do better
Baron: I'm always open to suggestions. Can you explain "no depth" and how you see the photo improved?
