Snow and shuttered windows

The snow has continued overnight, with some accumulation. The shutters in question are not the traditional side ones, these are more like venetian blinds. Incidentally, according to the blinds entry on Wikipedia (link), this type of blind was invented in Japan long before it showed up in Europe.

Hi Z! With a 48h day I would have time to enjoy your blog more often; shame on the time controller… ;))
Snowis something we usually don't have in Lisbon; no wonder, your weather tag shows 0º now and mine +12º C... Your pictures are a treat, but I prefer the sunny ones... ;))
Meanwhile Blogtrotter is departing Tunisia 2007, but managed to keep the delay in posting on twelve (12) months only. Great achievement… ;))
Enjoy and have a great weekend!

We may be getting some snow here! It's been raining non-stop since 6pm last night and now it's turning to sleet. I wish the weather would just make its mind up. I'm tired of all the changes.

Wellingtonia: Apparently not! I've already deleted about three other comments from this vendor. In his or her support, I will say that at least the text is well-written and is somewhat relevant to the subject of the post.
