Who and why
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera information
My current camera is an Olympus OM-D E-M10 (2014). Main lens: Panasonic 20mm f/1.7. Zoom/macro: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8. Until mid-2014 I had an Olympus PEN-EP2 (2010). Up until June 2010 I used a Panasonic Lumix FZ7 (2006). Occasionally there may appear photos taken with either a Nikon Coolpix 950 that I've had since 2000 or a used Nikon Coolpix 990 I acquired in 2009.

Okay I have been very patient throughout this holiday thing but Christmas is over so it's time to move on. God knows jingle bloody bells will be back soon enough.

My wife got a Santa that looks like this one but he only laughs out loud for a period of time. It is so funny the way his body jerks and his laughter that we get to laughing just listening.

A very beautiful Santa Claus. Mine I bought for my first with Xmas packets and a candle in the other one.
My Santa claus moves in Xmas music and the light of the candle comes on.
Skiing Santa with lots of fur trim. Very snazzy.
I remember Brig mostly for the train station - transfering trains. But I have a photo of my husband with the towers of the palace behind him. And we had to go thru Brig to get to Bettmeralp (have the train ticket stub Gultig 02.12.89 - 03.12.89). Have a great trip & a very happy New Year to you and yours.
