This oozes charm, too. Just as Jilly's does over at Menton. Remarkably similar in composition.

This is a great shot because of the surprise cycle. Wonder what's behind the curtains...

Puke! I hate those kind of curtains. They seem to be ubiquitous in France and Switzerland. I was forced to hang some up when I lived in Angers.

I lived in an apartment that formerly was a shop. It was on the ground floor and had a giant storefront window in the living room. People walking by would look right in - so I had to find some curtains.

The old hag across the street even came over once and said, "You know I can see in your window." As if I didn't know that! I sometimes thought of putting a flashing red light in my window and dancing for her enjoyment. Who knows what she would have said then!

PS: I hope those aren't you favorite type of curtains. No offense meant, of course! :)

I love this photo ..very charming scene! I like the contrast between the lace curtains and the motorcycle.

I like very much. Curtains are beautifil. Though the shutters are very old this window is nice.

Julie: Must get over to Jilly's to see.

K-girl: I was upset about the bike at first, but then decided to exploit it.

Tanya: Glad you like it. :-)

Hal: You made me laugh out loud! Angers in France, right? I don't think there's one in CH.

Hope: Thank you!

Kris: Me too!

Claude: I'm glad you like it.

It's too bad I didn't get a shot of the hag while she was sitting in her living room staring into my window!

Yes, it was Angers in France. I went to the university there for my master's.
