Keeping the vineyards clear of weeds looks like back-breaking work. Sometimes, when I'm waiting for the bus, I see people working at it on the slopes.

As well as admiring how you images complement you most attractive countryside, I am very much taken with the way you display your photos with the grey and black borders. Most appealing ...
Keeping the weeds out of any garden is back-breaking work! I can personally attest to that.
I used to live in Martigny in La Valais (or the Wallis, I guess you would call it). We had some vineyards there as well. Although I still prefer French wines. :)
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322

Some are born into their professions and some inherit them but the worker takes what comes along. It takes a lot of workers for us to survive.
The grape vines must welcome them and keep them satisfied with shade and a ripe grape now and then.

Sounds like back-breaking work, but it is probably easier with such a pretty basket.
It looks like a pretty decent place to have to wait for a bus. All I get to look at is a fish and chip shop!
Nice picture Z !This beautiful basket seems lost.
