Hi Z, Thanks for the recommendation about searching for the camera model on Flickr--and I never thought to try the macro settings on my camera! For instance, this Daisy photograph looks like you took this photograph with a macro lens. I will try the settings. Thanks so much.
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322

What a beautiful shot of an exquisite flower!
This blossom is really quite beautiful. Lovely shape and colours.
A daisy ready to open...very pretty!
Nice series of flower photos recently z. The little Nikon (in combination with the photographer naturally) does a really good job
That is very beautiful Z!
The daisy, at this stage, is a delight. Nice macro, Z.
Is the Nikon new or have I not noticed it till now?
So glad that you all liked it! Now I need to redo the wild garlic one before the plants are gone for the season, I don't like the photo I posted.
Chuckeroon: The Nikon was my first digital camera, from 2000. I've kept it for macro work.
