Wildflower 01

Sunshine today! Lots of little flowers to photograph. I haven't identified this one yet.

Update: Thanks to my readers, I now know this to be forget-me-not (Myosotis scorpiodes, or maybe alpestris, though at Villigen's elevation of 367 m, not so likely). Wikipedia article here. Common name in German: Vergissmeinnicht (same as in English).

I love this shot! As well as the littel red bug shot.

Those little blue flowers are so pretty, and photographed so well.

We call them "forget-me-not"s here, and I think they are the state flower of Alaska. Perfect focus and color.

I'm amazed at how you were able to get so close and get this great shot!

Greetings from Juneau, Alaska!
Beautiful shot!
Forget-me-nots are Alaska's state flower.
Every once in a while we'll see a few pink ones. Do you have pink forget-me-nots in Villigen?

Thiên: Thanks!

Babs: They really are tiny, little blossoms.

USelaine: Thanks for the id! Personally, I would have liked to have had the 3 open blossoms in sharper focus, but this is what I got.

Lavenderlady: I have to crawl around on the ground, that's for sure. People who see me must think I'm either nuts or up to no good. :-)

Gwyn: No pink ones have caught my eye so far, but that doesn't mean they're not out there.
