Hi Z, sorry for having been a bit absent. Anyhow, still got here on time to see some nice pictures. Loved to see the cat series; and the ZürichSee looks great (and not that poor quality you mentioned). Finally, these bathtubs as troughs look amazing... Have a great week! Blogtrotter
Hi Z, they do have great uses beyond the bath, don't they? We are enjoying ours so far as the garden. Hope you have a great rest of the week! Thank you for dropping by and commenting.
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322

That's a pretty good use.
Yes and over here I saw one bathtub retrained like a big garden box for flowers.

This a vintage Z. Excellent!
RR: It's funny to see these tubs sitting around pastures, but they do seem very practical.
Claude: I've seen a dumpster (big metal container for garbage) re-used like that on my bus route.
GMG: Thank you for your nice comments and wishes. I do keep up with your 'trotting' via RSS reader, although I haven't been commenting.
Chucker: Happy to hear it!
isn't reuse the best form of recycling !!!
