Hi Z, thank you very much for pointing out to the interesting link, as well as your visit. Unfortunately, at first sight, they do not inform about the plants on the coins. Maybe I could get an answer when contacting them (some of the banks I asked for, couldn't help me either!!). Well, I have to read the whole website again. BTW, it is nice to have found your blog here!! Regards from another village in the Aargau! Barbara
Isabella: Ah, I am but an inconsequential speck in their world. Laying hens: possibly. And no, I get not-so-local eggs at the shop. Probably should reconsider...
Barbara: Welcome back! Hope to see you around.
Claude: Maybe they're making fun of the rooster...
OldManLincoln: Thank you for the lovely comment!
Bergson: I like the light as well -- the clouds were moving across the sun, creating interesting patterns.
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322

Must be having a hen party!
I think they're gossiping about you ;-)
Are those laying hens? Do you get your eggs there?
