Nice photograph ! Z I am very sorry but I just see your question about the creole language. I began to learn two year agos. It as rather difficult because it is a true language with vocabular and grammatic. This year I tryed to buy a dictionnay but I did not find. I learn this language because I think it is interresting to speak and understand the people of a country where we like to go often. Translating of some words is funny. ExampleS LE DERRIERE DE LA TETE (la nuque -the nape of the neck = DEYE TETE
PARTOUT (everywhere) = TOUPATOU
OISEAU (bird) = ZWEZO or BET-A-PLIM (bête à plumes - feather beast)
Martinique is a French Island and as French, I take a interest with its language.
I hope to have answered completly to your question.
What an extraordinary picture! It looks like everything could be very carefully thought in this photo, it`s perfect! And in my mind not at all a "winterly" view :)
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322
