Mobility, and freedom
I've noted a handful of these types of vehicles on the roads around Villigen. The sign on the back indicates that the top speed is 30 km per hour (under 19 mph). I took this photo while on the Aarebrücke at Stilli that I've featured before.
The Classic electric scooter is made by a company called Kyburz AG in Canton Zürich. This vehicle has a range upto 65 km (40 miles) on one charge, and can negotiate a maximum grade of 30%. I was tickled to read in the extras that one can also get, as they put it, a fixation for the dog (Hundehalterung in German).

I absolutely LOVE those! I hope I'll be seeing them in Boston soon. Can't wait! :)
And there's room for the pet! Oh goody! :D
Very "clever" vehicle! I'd like to have one! And the photo is very nice too.
fast enough for me!
Great vehicle.
Thank you for visiting my blog.
This event is very popular in our community and famous for academic people. Most of the participants are coming from the Lauragais area.
Quite dangerous when you find them in a turn, isn't it? ;-)
Nice pretty little car !
Hi Z, well those little bikes or what are theY? we have them (or look-a-like) in Amsterdam too, but they com-up everywhere, so funny, its handy because you do not need a licence for those...:)
Please come and see my Paris impressions... when we were there at my birthday, I made a lot of shots and I show them in Hugh collages,

Thank you all for your comments! Isn't it great that these options are there for disabled people? As one of the customer testimonials on the company website mentioned, one of the nice aspects is that the scooter doesn't look like it's for the elderly (or disabled).
Great shot! That would be a great vehicle for parking in a big city!
Cute little vehicle, just perfect for getting around town.
they are so cute!
i have not seen this vehicle before.
:)
This and the following half dozen shots are exactly why I like "Villigen"! It's so homely, and quirky in such a very nice way way.
There are two similar buggies near me that are regularly parked outside the local bistro. I've been meaning to snap them for some time. They make such a good little shot.
