Who and why
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. Camera information
My current camera is an Olympus OM-D E-M10 (2014). Main lens: Panasonic 20mm f/1.7. Zoom/macro: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8. Until mid-2014 I had an Olympus PEN-EP2 (2010). Up until June 2010 I used a Panasonic Lumix FZ7 (2006). Occasionally there may appear photos taken with either a Nikon Coolpix 950 that I've had since 2000 or a used Nikon Coolpix 990 I acquired in 2009.

Funny, the day you took the photo there were none!
Re: your question about the security camera above the traffic light, it monitors traffic - that area used to get very congested during the Big Dig construction.
And I was thinking, that there must be something dangerous to children and this caution is therefor!!

Their everywhere, their everywhere, what shall we do ... I'm sure I have seen an old movie with that phrase ... Maybe the Birds by Hitchcock ... funny image your post brought to mind.
Another theme day suggestion - ironic or ambiguous street signs. One that springs to mind is "Traffic signal sequence changed" - so red,green,amber?
