I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I would like to try the pear preserves...I can imagine how they taste.
I have already made pear jam. It's very good. No banana jam on that stall ???
I never really LOVE jams or preserves but my dad does.
When I was in Louisiana, they had apple butter and pear butter, which are quite delicious.
