PSI West

The west campus of the Paul Scherrer Institut, the national research facility that calls Villigen home, as seen from the bridge over the Aare. We've had a lot of rain recently and the river is high and muddy as a result. Click on the PSI label below to read previous posts that mention it. The Aare from the PSI bridge as seen in January.

Thats a beautifully captured shot. Here in Calcutta too, its raining quite heavily these days and the river Ganges is running almost to its brim.

It does look high and muddy. I wish the weather would get back to normal but after watching a television program last night about the last, "Little Ice Age," we are now going through some of the identical steps that led to that awful period of time in the history of the world. And I was amazed that it didn't take a century to get here once the warming weather started and the ice caps melted.

Very nice view and photo. I also love the blue sky with the white clouds.

We got a lot of rain too and they were many floodings around the country. It seems summer comes slowly but surely. Nice view !
