This house on Hauptstrasse always has abundant geraniums in the summer. Quite a feast for the eyes.

Who and why
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. Camera information
My current camera is an Olympus OM-D E-M10 (2014). Main lens: Panasonic 20mm f/1.7. Zoom/macro: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8. Until mid-2014 I had an Olympus PEN-EP2 (2010). Up until June 2010 I used a Panasonic Lumix FZ7 (2006). Occasionally there may appear photos taken with either a Nikon Coolpix 950 that I've had since 2000 or a used Nikon Coolpix 990 I acquired in 2009.

I like the looks of this house. Very cozy and to have those nice porches must be wonderful.
Anybody else struck by how the roof outline resembles that of an Asian warrior's helmet, complete with ear protecting wings?!

Interestingly, this house is one of the few that I find very difficult to photograph in a flattering way. I have had many failed attempts, but this one seemed okay.
Bet this looks fabulous in real life.
