Rabbit
At least, I think it's a rabbit. No, I don't want to know its fate -- and yes, I can be a little ostrich-like (at least, what they're allegedly like). The rabbit pen is next to the llamas. I had gone over early in the morning to photograph the llamas, but they were still inside their shed. For an earlier llama photo, check out my post from 20070122.

He looks like he's tried to eat charcoal out of a tin and got black all around its mouth. He's funny! Fancy that, going out for a llama and getting a white rabbit instead - you're a magician!
Z, what award are you talking about? I know nothing about it - unless you're referring to my nomination at the 2007 bloggies award, which was months ago?
What a cutie. I do hope he's not for the pot!
Actually he does have a tiny look of a Guinea Pig, not that I'm an expert.

Funny picture. The windblown hair and sooty face. Neat.
He's sort of shocked that it's so early in the morning and you caught him before he had shaved.
The lead water butts were used to collect rain water for general use. These are relatively small. Large mansions had several huge butts with the date and lots of decoration.
what a cutie!
Looks kind of ... odd. lol!
I have posted a photo of the missing UK girl Madeleine in the hope that the more people see her, the more chance she may be found. Please take a sec to pop over to Cheltenham, to put her face in your head. Thanks to you and your readers.
Ahrgh! Your rabbit and my boats definitely can't go together: a rabbit in a boat is an impossible thing, even to say the word "rabbit" gives bad luck! So, see you tomorrow...;-)
Are you sure it's a rabbit? I see a bit of llama and a cat in it ;-)
That's a fluffy rabbit! Maybe they take the fur it sheds and spin it into yarn?
I think I like Tara's idea, and she actually might be on to something. The farm could be a yarn producing farm, I'll have to go check their signs and so on.
It looks like a rabbit who just had her hair done for a gala party tonight. :-)
ha ha--bunny with a 'fauxhawk' (i.e.-a quasi-mohawk)
Hello Z, just discovered your blog by accident (searching Google for "pictures" and "Villigen" ;-)
As the proud owner of the two rabbits I can confirm that they're indeed not "for the pot"!
We discovered them in a cardboard box on our doorstep on a Sunday morning last August and have adopted them in our family.
By the way - the white rabbit is a "lionhead rabbit", just with a dirty snout from digging holes in our garden!
Keep up the good work, love your blog!
