The obligatory cow post

I had trouble choosing an appropriate photo for this post. This particular shot had potential. I just don't like that I cut off the feet and got that piece of grass in front of his face. The runner up to this one is over here at my overflow site. Take a look at both and tell me what you think.

In my opinion this one is better. You can see the texture in his fur.

Like Lavenderlady (Bonjour Norma!), I prefer this one, a nice young calf. But z, don't be afraid when cows are running to you, they are always curious and gossiping!

It is still an interesting photograph, grass and all. Yes, cows are curious and will usually come up to see who you are and what you are up too. Sometimes people get a little afraid when a big bull comes up to you in the same way. Usually they mean no harm.

My post today explains about a duck's sexual habits. Not sure if I should label it with an "X" or not.

hmm....tough call, but I think the other one is my favorite. I like how the three cows in the forefront are observing, while those in the background continue grazing unconcerned.

We had an entire Cow Parade in Stockholm some years ago. It’s sort of an Art Event always on tour.

Well I think this is much better. I wouldn't worry about the feet - I'd crop it much closer - the expression is the best part for me.

I'm with Chris&Deb - that first photo on overflow cracks me up!

Well, I see that you are about as divided as I am... I still think the single calf is a more appealing shot, especially after the cropping (see overflow site if interested). The group of cows has a certain something as well, but the photo overall isn't as interesting unless you look at it for a while.
