Hi Alice: I don't know whether this is the "famous" mower, but it is an automatic mower. This one is made by a Swedish (?) company called Husqvarna. An animation showing the operation of the device can be found here: http://www.automower.co.uk/node155.aspx
Interesting matter: auto-machines. Oh, Husqvarna! It remembers me the sewing machines and a September day in 1969 when I was hitch-hiking Europe and woke up under an highway viaduct near Husqvarna, Sweden for my 20th birthday...
hmm.. lawnmowers of any sort do not excite me. This is a great shot of a pretty garden but it behoves me to cut my own; a postage stamp size of overgrown grass sporting dandelions by the dozen. Hmmm are the dandelions too pretty to mow? Sounds like a good excuse to me...
Hello z! I think we are talking about the same type of mower, i didn't remember the brand (the mark?). But i am not like Lynn (is she really English???), i like to cut the lawn and i've learned how to keep my mower in repair! But i have to say that half an hour is enough to cut all the grass in my huge property...
It was only for a short time that I had a grassy patch of my own to mow, and I used a push mower. Unless I had waited too long and the grass was almost falling over. Then, I had to pull out the old electric mower the previous resident had left behind. I always worried about running over the power cord on that thing!
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. I was on a long LONG break, and now I post only sporadically although I still have hopes of posting more regularly. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you have questions or comments. Camera and other information at the foot of the page. 20150322

Is it about this famous landmower which works alone?

Automatic, computer mowers do not move me!! They can stay in the shed along with my standard mower!!
HAHAHA! Very effective advertisement, if you ask me. :-)
Yes, I read your post about the cats and birds. Like cats and dogs aren't friends, birds and cats aren't supposed to be friends either.
