I think I would like to live in a house like this... Photographed over a month ago, located near the fields where I saw the rainbow that I posted yesterday.

Who and why
I started this blog in Jan 2007 as a member of the City Daily Photo family representing the village of Villigen. I'm a transplant to Switzerland and keeping the blog was a way for me to keep a record of new things I learnt while sharing with others. Camera information
My current camera is an Olympus OM-D E-M10 (2014). Main lens: Panasonic 20mm f/1.7. Zoom/macro: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8. Until mid-2014 I had an Olympus PEN-EP2 (2010). Up until June 2010 I used a Panasonic Lumix FZ7 (2006). Occasionally there may appear photos taken with either a Nikon Coolpix 950 that I've had since 2000 or a used Nikon Coolpix 990 I acquired in 2009.

Do you have Hobbits in Villigen? :-)
The underground home was a popular idea here where I live back in the 1970s. Then it faded as did all of the environmental help the government was offering the people.
It is no longer done here but it makes sense.
I didn't do much today but...
I did write about how people used to wear long underwear over winter or until we began to stink. You can find the link at the bottom of the post today.

It looks like a Hobbit house from Tolkien's Lord of the Ring!
I think you've stolen my next architecture. There's a house like this in Urdorf that I was going to have a look at - still will - but it ain't in a field like this one. I like the way you've shot it - like BO says, very Hobbiton
It seems like this house is growing up from ground !
